Tutors email addresses, passwords and telephone numbers (where supplied) are encrypted using the highly secure "Triple-DES" encryption algorthim.
Tutors' email addresses are not published on the website. This protects the Tutor from automated spam email - a form is used to email the Tutor enquiries from Clients, so Clients will not know the Tutor's email address unless the Tutor contacts the Client.

What we do with your information

Any personal information we collect from this website will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. The details we collect will be used:

To process your enquiry or application;
Details of enquiries sent to Tutors (name, email address, phone and message) are not retained by Tutors4Me or on the website. It is the Tutor's responsibility to use these details only for the purpose of responding to the enquiry and making tutoring arrangements. No other use is permitted, including the passing of these details on to any third party.
In certain cases we may send information on our services (e.g. upgrades to the website) to registered "Tutors". In such a case the "Tutor" will be offered the option to opt in/out.
